:: Overview ::
Our client is looking for a Senior Software Manager,
Enterprise Applications for its Mississauga office. Reporting
directly to the Director of Software Development, you will be
managing, mentoring and leading 6-10 developers, responsible for the
design, building, testing and ongoing support of all client, server
and framework elements of the company?s product and associated
components.
:: Our Client ::
Our client provides IT solutions for Wealth Management
companies.
:: What You Will Do ::
- Manage, prioritize and balance customer needs with technical
requirements and schedule constraints
- Plan and coordinate the schedule and prioritization of new
features
- Review, approve and assist developers with their designs
- Enforce coding standards and conduct code reviews
- Guide technical contributors to deliver end user product
- Deliver all application components ensuring that the needs of
end users are met
:: What You Will Bring ::
- A minimum of 3-5 years leading a medium ? large size team of
developers focused on enterprise level applications preferably
with a productivity application or work tool application in an
object oriented environment
- Exceptional experience with algorithm development, code reuse,
encapsulation and componentization of software code
- A Minimum of 7 years? experience in application development,
and have been involved in all phases of the system development
life cycle
- Strong technical background in Java, Visual Basic and SQL
- HTML and Web development would be an asset
