So? If you haven't learned to take things you read on the Internet with
a grain of salt, then you deserve what you get.
All the code implementing the "recommended modules" is freely available
to read. If you really want to know whether the code is good or not,
download the code, get a cup of coffee, open your favorite editor, and
play with it. That will buy you a lot more than reading cpan-hatings or
some wiki will.
