We are a rapidly growing and well-funded healthcare software firm in
Nashville, TN. We have exisiting clients with more on the way and are
hiring people with Perl skills to join our team.
This position is based in Nashville, TN and is not a telecommuting
postition. We are looking for people that live in or near Nashville or
willing to move here.
Required skills:
In this role you will need good or great experience in Perl, particularly
in a web environment- using mod_perl and OO style.
You must also have a good understanding of MySQL or Oracle and are
comfortable and experienced using Linux or another *nix as a development
environment.
You must also have depth and breadth of experience working in CSS, xHTML,
and Javascript with
AJAX and standards based patterns. You must be able to write your own
objects and scripts.
*You not only understand the concepts behind good usability, but can
demonstrate application of them.
Desired skills:
Familiarity with version control software like SVN and bug tracking
software such as trac. Healthcare experience is a plus.
