This is a full-time position as a Web Application Developer in Nashville,
TN working with our team to develop new product and to customize the
solution for our customers.
Position is based in Nashville.
Required skills:
The requirements for are to have good to excellent experience in Perl,
particularly in a web environment (mod_perl)
Excellent MySQL and/or Oracle knowledge
Comfortable and experienced using Linux
You have a working knowledge of CSS and xHTML (not a designer, but you'll
need to understand web standards), and ideally a basic grasp of
prototype-style Javascript
Have experience refactoring to design patterns and OO Perl code
Are familiar with version control software like SVN and bug tracking
software like trac
2 - 5+ years of Object-oriented Perl, including mod_perl, perl data
structures and references, CPAN, modules, and packages.
2+ years of Perl DBI experience, with mysql or Oracle experience a strong
plus Strong algorithm development experience.
Solaris/Linux/Apache platform knowledge preferred.
Desired skills:
Also, since we are a healthcare firm, we really are excited about
candidates that have experience in health-care integration technologies
like HL7 2.x/3.0 and ICD9/10 codesets, or have provider work-flow and
health-care information exchange experience.
