Senior Software Engineer
Responsibilities
At Leostream, the Senior Software Engineer should be able to leverage a
strong object-oriented analysis and design background in order to build
sophisticated systems using Linux and Microsoft technologies. The Senior
Software Engineer engages in the full software development life cycle,
including interaction with customers, requirements gathering, designing,
developing and testing.

Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced software engineers with 5+ years of
experience developing Linux and Microsoft based systems using C++, Perl,
MySQL, and other related technologies. Candidate should have excellent
object oriented design and implementation skills. Position requires
knowledge of COM, ATL, Mod Perl, Linux, Windows 32/64 bit OS?s, threading
models, and networking api.
Ideal candidate should have web and windows application development
experience in a network infrastructure management space.
Prior experience gathering and documenting system requirements, using
software patterns and other proven idioms, implementing reusable libraries
and frameworks, and using automated unit testing techniques is a very
strong plus. Experience and understanding of virtualization platforms and
related technologies is desirable.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy
working in a highly collaborative, dynamic, startup environment.
A bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or Engineering field preferred.
