Description:
Seeking a highly motivated, self-driven web application developer to
support, develop, and extend several existing database driven web
applications.
This individual will be responsible for supporting existing web
applications as well as creating, integrating and troubleshooting new
applications.
Required skills:
Candidates MUST have a minimum of 1 year experience using Perl, SQL, CGI
and HTML in a UNIX environment.
Candidates MUST have a solid understanding of database concepts and design,
dynamic web programming, fault tolerant programming methodology, and be
able to work both independently and as part of a team on projects of
varying complexity.
MUST be able to multitask and adapt to change.
Candidates MUST have proficiency with the necessary development tools in
both Windows and UNIX environments.
Programming using Perl is required.
Previous Web Application experience using Perl is required.
Excellent communication skills and great personality are a MUST because
candidate will interact with Chief Technology Officer(CTO) and other
divisions of the company.
Desired skills:
College degree is recommended though not required if programming experience
and skills are equivalent to college experience.
Object Oriented Programming is preferred.
