**DESCRIPTION**
Open Source Programmer / Sys Admin
Name brand company, growing at a very rapid rate, even after 20 years in
business
Direct Hire/Permanent, internal (non-consulting) position
Perl, Linux, Open Source, ?LAMP? oriented infrastructure
Applications are designed, built, coded, released and maintained in house,
in proprietary fashion, object oriented environment, there are several
other Perl oriented programmers and Web Developers on the team?on the
spectrum of Perl Programmer versus Web Developer, this need falls more on
the Perl Programmer side of the fence
Most applications are web delivered, coded using Perl, integrated with the
entire application and network infrastructure
Very social, fun, loose, casual, entrepreneurial IT development environment
Bachelors preferred but not required
Looking for someone who has been coding since they were a kid, someone who
has always had a passion for computers...with 3+ years of professional
coding experience, at least 1 within a Perl/Open Source environment. PHP
can be a substitute for Perl, given enough synergy with the remainder of
the need
$60,000-$75,000 salary range plus benefits and extensive training
**COMPENSATION**
Depending on experience, base salary between $60,000-$75,000
