Description:
Quonix Networks is currently looking for a telecommute contract Perl
developer to assist our staff in building a custom automated billing
system.
High level over of the billing system being built is as follows. Monthly
recurring billable accounts will be stored in a Postgres database. At the
end of the month, a job will create PDF files for each customers invoice.
These PDF files will be used to print a copy of the bill for paper mailing.
Key feature of the system is for our staff to be able to add/delete/edit
invoices in a web interface format.
Our development staff can handle web front-end and database, however, we
are looking for an individual who has the experience needed to make the PDF
and print functionality work properly.
Required skills:
Perl, DBI with Postgres, basic SQL understanding, and solid experience in
creating and manipulating PDF files via Perl.
Desired skills:
Any experience in building automated billing systems is a plus.
