Job Responsibilities
Do you like breaking things? Do you enjoy finding new and innovative ways
to push, misuse and abuse software? If this sounds like you, then we have
the perfect job for you!
Manage and enhance our large existing distributed whitebox testing
framework based off Test::More.
Enhance, manage and automate our smoke testing setup.
Design and build stress and soak testing setups.
Reverse-engineer customer-reported issues into reproducing cases.
Use code coverage analysis tools to ensure test coverage.
Work with the rest of the engineering group to promote robust testing and
quality.
Proactively find new and innovative ways to crush, break and destroy our
products.
Required skills:
3-5 years of experience in software engineering industry.
Strong and proven skills in Perl
Experience doing automated testing in Perl.
Desired skills:
Knowledge of TCP/IP.
Experience dealing with email from a software development or adminstration
standpoint.
Experience with Test::More, Apache::Test.
Experience with Open Source testing tools such as gcov, valgrind and
others.
Experience contributing to Open Source projects, particularly CPAN, a huge
plus.
