My computer connects to the Internet through a mobile telephone service
provider using a 3G + HSPDA modem. This service is normally very stable
but every now and then the link is lost. Opera is set to check for
messages every 15 minutes and if the link is down the error console
opens. This prompts me to re-establish the link and all is well again.
The problem is that if I try to send a newsgroup message while the link is
down, the message stays in the Outbox after the link has been re-opened
and I've clicked on the Check/Send button. I have to go to the Outbox,
edit the message and resend it. With a normal email, the message is sent
as soon as the link is re-opened and the Check/Send button is clicked.
Is there any way to persuade Opera to send newsgroup messages that have
been placed in the Outbox while working offline once Opera in online again?
Mervyn.
