How do you setup a killfile?
Where is it located?
How do you edit it?
There is no kill-file as such, but you can choose to 'ignore' people.
That means messages from them will be automatically marked as 'read'.
This function can be reached from the mail header: click the name of a
sender after 'From:', and click 'Ignore contact'.
Likewise, you can ignore threads.
You can also choose to 'follow' contacts or threads, they will show in a
separate access point then.
These features were introduced in Opera 9.6. Before that, you could set
up filters that did mostly the same, but that was rather bothersome.
well I don't know what I did but there is a certain poster and none of the
messages from it are listed but I can see them using another newsreader. I
still haven't got the hang of opera's news yet. For example, when I click
on the thread button it goes to the thread-fine. How do I undo it?
