Is this normal??

Hmmm, I guess it is! At me using the latest build (actually that is 9.60
itself :) ) on Ubuntu GNU/Linux 8.04 with the QT4 builds everything is OK
when I click properties of a mailing list that I have *as a contact* in my
contact book in M2 I can edit it's name, and when I don't have it in my
contacts I normally can't edit it's name because the headers say what the
name is.
So at the end, you need to add the mailing list whose name you want to
edit to your contacts (I suggest creating a folder for your often mailed
to lists) and then change it's name from the properties after you add it.
If in any case this wasn't the answer you were seeking, please explain it
more widely in your next reply :)

Miladin
