Recently my Vista OS was corrupted so I used the 'opportunity' to installed a larger drive. I wanted to separate my user data from my system data, so I created a Users folder on the D:\ partition and then moved all the user profiles to D:\Users. However, I failed to change the paths in opera6.ini and several days later, when I realized new mail was being stored on C:\, I copied the contents of the mail folder on C:\ to D:\. I then edited opera6.ini, replacing C:\Users with D:\Users, deleted the lexicon folder and then ran Opera to reindex the mail, but a new lexicon folder was not created. Now when I click on a filter (folder), Opera displays the number of messages but none of the messages. I checked the stored folder and subfolders and the messages are all there, including those for dates before I moved to the mail to D:\ and those received and stored on C:\. Since the deleted lexicon folder was not created, I undeleted it, but htat made no difference. How can I correct the indexing problem and have Opera display the messages? |
