The problem is that the new behaviour is not very intuative (much like the way it automatically reconnects to IRC if you type the "/quit" command - who thought that one up?). Why can't Opera populate that list with either a cached copy of the folder names, or even just the saved folder name before it's connected to the server, just like previous versions? It's possible the 'sent' folder will have been moved/renamed/deleted since you last checked for mail but shouldn't that problem be dealt with when it's encountered? It's like blanking out the fields for the server address because it *might* have disappeared since you last started Opera. |
