All I really need to do is transfer my bookmarks (I have a lot) and mail. At present Operais a secondary mail agent for me, although I am using it more and more. Unfortunately I am not a "heavy" computer person, and I am unsure justhow to get my mail transferred over to the new machine. Would it be sufficient just to copy over the C:\Program Files\Opera\Mail\ directory and all its subdirectories, or do I need to do something else?If you run the same setup/version that should be all what is necessary.Yes, but how do I move all the mail from the existing machine over to the new machine? Just running setup on the new machine won't move anything from one machine to another. You backup your existing mail-directory, then replace the new directory in the fresh install with the old backup. J. -- Using Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/mail/ |
