The computer I have used for a long time is so old that it is still operating on Windows 98. It will probably break down sooner or later, so today I bought a new computer which has Windows XP Pro installed on it. Once I get a little more familiar with XP I will try to move over applications and data. (Along with the computer I bought "Windows XP for Dummies.") I still have the setup executable for Opera 9.25. All I really need to do is transfer my bookmarks (I have a lot) and mail. At present Operais a secondary mail agent for me, although I am using it more and more. Unfortunately I am not a "heavy" computer person, and I am unsure justhow to get my mail transferred over to the new machine. Would it be sufficient just to copy over the C:\Program Files\Opera\Mail\ directory and all its subdirectories, or do I need to do something else? If you run the same setup/version that should be all what is neccesary. J. Any pointers or tips will be greatly appreciated. -- Using Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/mail/ |
