A [not quite] satisfactory way of dealing with it going missing is to set  
up your own filter, where your email address is contained anywhere in the  
message. That will get those from you and those replies that quoted you.  
The "not quite satisfactory" part <g> is that other posts in the thread  
that aren't from you or aren't quoting/referencing you  won't show. But  
it's [slightly] better than nothing.
