Files attached to messages, are stored in the message, using a form of
encoding, such as base64, or uuencoding. Unless you're dealing with a
program that knows how to decode messages, to extract the file (unlikely),
the file must be extracted from the message, and saved to disk, before
another application can process it.
I don't think what you're trying to do can be done, because of that.
