Please direct me accordingly. Opera 9.23 under Windows 98. I do not use Opera as my primary mail agent, but I do use it daily (and am using it more and more). I tend not to save a lot of emails, so when I delete them I wind up with a lot of empty directories in C:\Program Files\Opera\mail\store\account1\yyyy\mm\dd for individual days after I have received and deleted incoming mail. It seems to me that it is inefficient for the mail agent to handle bundles and bundles of empty daily directories. Is there any way of handling all these empty directories short of closing Opera and deleting all these empty directories "by hand" as I am doing now? Thanks.Hi!I've been asking myself the same question, and I too am deleting those empty directories aswell. Opera 9.5 will remove them automatically. Though probably not the old ones from previous versions. I don't think these folders have a measurable impact on performance, but I'm glad tthis will get fixed anyway.
