As you have pointed out, you can transfer messages to other views,
just not Sent. This is because sent messages are special and are
supposed to be handled automatically. It's unfortunate that Gmail
sends sent messages they way it does. If you look at the raw message,
is there any information that identifies it as a sent message? If
there is, we may be able to use it to automatically move the message
to the Sent view.
