Apparently what Opera does with attachments is not that special - you can get the same scenario with Outlook Express for example. How do other apps handle an 'open' function in the mailer?Does Outlook Express clear out the rest of its temp downloads folder upon closing? Even files it didn't put in there? That is not what we were discussing lastly - I was talking about the opening & editing of mail attachments, without properly saving them separately. .. Could Opera lock the files to read-only, to prevent people from being able to overwrite Opera temp files, and thus forcing them to save them somewhere else after editing? Don't know, I've asked about this. But this might depend on the operating system etc. -- Rijk Opera Software ASA QA etc |
