There are a couple possibilities:
1) Those messages contain characters that give Opera problems when
downloading, such as NULLs. This is unlikely, especially since it
affects 13 messages.
2) Your folder subscriptions are different.
3) Some of those messages are filtered somewhere else in Opera and/or
your indexing is messed up (as suggested in your previous post). Try
using the account selector (right click on the Mail panel) to choose
only your IMAP account to see if the messages are somewhere where they
shouldn't be.
