Still no threaded view + "forever" only display period after 100% clean install of both Os and Opera

9.52 4897 on OsX 10.5.4

This problem have persisted since my first upgrade from 9.27 to 9.50,  
Opera claims it has been fixed, and that it would have to be a corrupted  
pref/directory on my machine.

I have tried several regular clean installs of Opera, all to no avail.

So, being realy realy p***** off, I did an Erase and Install of 10.5.0  
yesterday. Then ran S.U. after which I installed Opera.
So no one can claim this is not a clean install..

However, the problem still persists!
In the News client there is no way to get a threaded view, and any Display  
Period other than "Forever" does NOT work.

Is there anyone out there who has got a threaded view with 9.52 on OsX  
10.5.4 ?
This is extremely annoying.
