Modify the code in  (np_entry.cpp) and comment out the line

if(aNPNFuncs->size < sizeof(NPNetscapeFuncs)) 
    return NPERR_INVALID_FUNCTABLE_ERROR;

I 'think'  the version I modified  was 2.80; never bother  to make the
modication  to 2.85,  since my  mplayerplug-in is  only set  to handle
quicktime file types and I don't run across them very often.
