youtube stops after 2 seconds

Any reason youtube stops playing after 2 seconds? I've previously fixed by  
removing global.dat but this is a fresh 9.51 install and it didn't last  
long before the problem manifested. My fix was temporary to boot. Is there  
a more permanent fix?
