climbing CPU

Ever since upgrading to 9.51 opera will occassionally climb up to 150
MB at 100% CPU then once it's there level off and the CPU drops back
to nothing. This is with NO pages/tabs open. If I clear Private Data
and close re-open all will be fine...but soon later it'll happen all
over again. What's doing this? Any ideas?

Plus Gmail and Google groups will hang on the login screen, still I
stop and refreah then it will go through. This is every time.

Curious to know if anyone else is getting these annoyances. Thanks.
