I want to copy my Opera settings to another PC. I've seen instructions to copy various files and folders in the "profile" folder. But in Windows XP I have two Opera profile folders. One is C:\Documents and Settings\MyName\Local Settings\Application Data\Opera\Opera\profile, and one C:\Documents and Settings\MyName\Application Data\Opera\Opera\profile. Both of these folders contain files that are updated when Opera runs. Is this because I had an old installation of Opera on my PC before I installed the current one? It seems a very messy way to do things, especially as there is an "Opera" folder that contains nothing but another "Opera" folder. Is there any way that I can keep all the user data in one place and make the folder structure a bit more sensible, to make it easier to migrate user settings? -- Tony W My e-mail address has no hyphen - but please don't use it, reply to the group. |
