But this should only become a problem if Opera is in full screen mode and there are no toolbars or panels showing (F11). When these 'freezes' occur, does the normal Flash context menu appear when you right-click on the screen? Under those circumstances the trick is to use Alt+Tab twice to move to another program and back again, or if Opera is the only program running (on Windows at least) press Windows+D to go to the desktop then use Alt+Tab to back to it, and use F11 before clicking anything to come out of full screen mode. If you've only clicked the 'full screen' button in the Flash video player then this should still leave Opera's toolbars displaying, and you can click on these to bring focus back to Opera, or click on a tool bar and then press the Windows context menu key to display the man page context menu. Alternatively, you can right click on the relavent tab to close it. If you're talking about any other kind of freeze then I haven't seen this on my system though the changelog for the Opera 9.5 beta lists "Fixed problems displaying full-screen YouTube videos", whatever that means, so I don't know if that's related. |
