It's clearly not a bug in Opera (but perhaps a feature request for
opera.wishlist), seeing as selecting text is a basic OS-level task that also
requires an OS-level color combo to be consistent between OS applications.
FWIW, Opera is simply adhering to MS-mandated Windows UI design guidelines
"The GetSysColor function provides access to the current
setting for the system selection highlight color
(COLOR_HIGHLIGHTTEXT) and selection background color
(COLOR_HIGHLIGHT). Always use these two system colors in
their proper foreground and background combination."
