While having processor usage at 95-100% (800Mhz laptop winxp) viewing this page, I cant close that tab by clicking the red close X icon on the tab, clicking my own custom button, that closes active tab or clicking the context menu item "Close page". The tab will close after close request only if I
1) manually activate another tab
2) activate another application and then activate back to opera.

I saved a copy of that gif and opened it directly in various browsers:
Merlin 60-66%CPU - Opera is usig then releasing both RAM and GDI handles each time the image cycles
Firefox: 93% CPU - RAM and GDI handles static
IE6: 0% CPU - It handed it off to Irfanview, which displayed it with 1%CPU!

So more than one browser could learn a thing or two from Irfanview!
