I think coloring, bolding, underlining, italicizing, smiley
faces/emoticons all contribute tocommunication. I liken such things to
"tone of voice" when listening to a person speaking. Different people
can verbalize the same thing with different tone and get very different
responses. I think one can deliver or underscore their email
communication better with these additional toolsonly available in HTML
and RTF formats.
I hope I am not considered 'evil' for having such beliefs.
