It sounds to me like you are simply experiencing lack of memory (RAM of
all kinds) in your comp. if it's an old machine (100Mhz) it probably
doesn't have much memory or a very good display card. I used to have a
similar problem on a P 133Mhz - it was clearly due to lack of memory -
make sure you have lots of free space for your page file, try upgrading
the display card and put it as much memory as possible.

Why? Because I don't like having to reload images from forum's that
use the no-cache setting. By leaving Opera running, it keeps the
images cached. Probably a bug, but one I am glad is there.
