I haven't tested this with 9.5 yet but previously 'bookmarks last visited  
time' was the trigger. Uncheck it in the DPD dialog and the favicons will  
be preserved. Then again all other favicons would then also be remembered  
making DPD useless if you use it to remove tracks of previous browsing  
history. This is a long-standing bug.
