Hello Rijk and thanks for responding.
I've been using Opera happily for many years (both RTM and beta), and until
yesterday, I always used the supplied default folder for the installation.
There is only one user profile on my PC. I don't recall choosing an Opera
installer
option for profiles. But if there is that option (which I don't doubt), there
should
be a warning about unwanted side effects on Vista. If there is a page in Opera
support that discusses issues with the Vista virtual store, please point me to
it. If
there is no such page, I respectfully suggest that there should be.
