On my linux system, using kde 3.5.9, gcc4, and qt3, it has never, as far
as I've tested, copied the url to the clipboard.
I've tested various buttons and menu entries, including identical to yours.
Not a big deal, as I rarely use it, and as long as the page is left open,
it's easy to select which link I want to copy (preview or not), and
manually copy it.
