Ramesh, thanks.
Yes, I am going to try to uninstall Norton.  It happens to be Corporate 
client copy installed in a WinXP Home edition --why I do not know-- the 
uninstall in Control Panel/Programs does not finish giving an error. So I 
have to unstall manually by deleting keys. Wish me luck.  Thanks for great 
help.
