After upgrading from XP Home to Vista Home Premium, the machine is missing all of the choices in AutoPlay that deal with aspects of Windows Media Player. Gone are: Play audio CD using Windows Media Player Rip music from CD using Windows Media Player So far we have tried: sfc/scannow which report no integrity problems download / reinstall WMP which will not install an older version over the installed version Also, Windows Media Player icons did not automatically setup after the install, so I went into the directory and ran the setup_wm.exe file How can I get the Window Media Player functionality back? |
