You'll probably get better responses in the
microsoft.public.sqlserver.server newsgroup since this one is
dedicated to Notification Servers - an add-on to SQL Server 2000 and a
part of SQL Server 2005. 

When you post to the .server group, consider supplying more
information - version of SQL Server, etc.
