Hello,

I haven't really tried this, but meetings have bit 1 of the property property http://schemas.microsoft.com/mapi/id/{00062002-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}/0x8217 set to 1.

Best regards,
Henning Krause

Hi Guys/Gals.

I've got a situation where I've created a Master Appointment in
one calendar and have created a Child appointment in a second
calendar.

I've linked the Master/Child using the "urn:schemas:calendar:uid"
property.
Using Outlook 2003/Exchange 2003 this relationship and linking
seems fine when the master is updated and updates are sent out
then the Child appointments are updated and converted to Meetings.

But is there a way for me when I create the Child to Force it to be a
Meeting instead of just a plain Appointment. I've tried setting the
MeetingStatus = 1 but from what I can gather this still requires me to
send the appointment before it will change the Appointment to a
meeting.

How can I change an Appointment to a Meeting using CDO wirhout having
to send any invitations at all?

Many Thanks,
Richard
