Flex app hangs at "Initializing..."

I wrote a flex 3 web application that works on two computers (one using 
localhost, another remote host).  I'm trying to get it to work on a third but 
when I try and load it, before I can even use the app, when loading it hangs at 
"Initializing..." and never moves forward from there.

 Anyone have an idea why it would work fine on two computers but not the third? 
 I thought maybe it was the environment of the third computer, but yet basic 
flex applications work fine on it, it just seems to not want to initialize this 
particular application.
