Can an extension be made to do things like automatically save a copy of your currently working file with another name? Basically it would need to do file operations on the local hard drive (not the server). I'm entirely new to extensions but am interested in writing one that will duplicate the "history" feature of Eclipse, where I can have a timestamped/named file created in a folder on my hard drive at each save. Thanks for any help. ...BradPS. I've ordered the only book I could find on the topic and am going to try and do this but any tips or hints I can get are greatly appreciated. I've found extensions development to be a not very well documented feature of dreamweaver. |
