I had a similar problem with that extension and the solution was to set write 
permissions (777) in the upload folder. I was working with a Windows server, so 
I need to set the permissions via the hosting control panel, but if you are 
working with a Linux/Unix server you can set the permissions from FTP.

 However I suggest you to contact the HotDreamweaver support service, from what 
I've experienced in my previous contacts they answer very fast. You can also
