Help! I'm lost

I'm a GoLive user and loved the interface. DW is frustrating me to no end. What 
key am I missing. I have a div  in the page and I'm trying to duplicate and 
move it by option clicking and getting nowhere. I have a Mac. I also tried to 
cut and paste it twice but got nowhere too. 

 I really wish they would have dropped DW and gone to what they had created 
with GoLive (I'm sure there are many others like me) but they haven't so I need 
the key. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks
