Publishing a newsletter

I have created a newsletter in Dreamweaver and finalized with links and images. 
Now i want o send this newsletter as email. I tried to save it as a html file 
and attached the file in my email but that doesnt display the complete 
newsletter. Should i save it as an image file and then send it or there is 
another way of doing it? Thanks!
