okay Murray *ACE* - we can both see what develops here and if there is an 
answer to why the submitted and filled out form is not coming back printed to 
the screen. When I hit the submit button it just blanks all of the fields and 
nothing is printed to the screen. This happens whether I use my constructed php 
page or using the one that is pre-constructed and included from the book 
download materials.

 At this point, I have combed over the book, the code, the everything and now 
hope that some direction might come from these forums.
