Thanks Murray,
I was not able to find a solution at that link but like I said it does the
same thing if you use this code instead (works in ff not ie)

valign="top"> </td>
<td><img src="images/spacer.gif" alt="" border="0" width="1" /></td>
</tr>
So it doesnt need 100% or * - This has to be able to be fixed, it works in ff
why wouldnt there be a way to get it to work in ie. Lets start with why does ie
ignores the valign and spread them out evenly, and why is it not repeating the
bg image and placing it at the bottom. Any help is really appreciated.
