Hello, I have a website that will contain a series of pages, each with a Flash SWF that is loaded dynamically using a server side include. The SWF in turn contains a FLV video player that I want to play a specific video file (different for each page) that is also loaded dynamically by PHP using data from a MySQL database. I'm using FlashVars to send the video file selection to the SWF. It seems to me that I need something unique about the page itself to tell PHP how to find the correct FLV file. If I put a simple number on the page in a way that it could be compared to the number associated with the FLV file listed in the database, then that would be a match. How would I "tag" the number I put on the web page so that it can be accessed and looked at by PHP? Is there a better/standard way to do this? Thanks, Tom |
