Missing Toolbar icons Dreamweaver CS3 Mac

Hi Folks, new to this forum so apologies if asked before.
 have installed trial download of Dreamweaver CS3 on my Mac (G5 running OS X.4).
 Dreamweaver opens up but all of the toolbox icons are missing and are replaced 
with a generic 'broken icon' type. Similarly if an image is inserted onto the 
'work area' it does not show up but again is a 'broken icon' of a simlar type.

 Strangely enough the downloaded trial of CS3 works fine on my Win XP laptop, 
but on the Mac .... no go..
 Any clues or answers anyone. BTW all other CS3 apps work absolutely fine.
