Browser wont follow link.

I have a page in which I am updating a database table with various entries.
 The DW "Update Record" dialogue box looks good, and the updating takes place 
as desired.
 The problem is that the browser simply re-presents the same page despite me 
browsing to an alternative page at the " After updating go to.." box on the 
dialogue box.
 I have tried different pages, but it still refuses to budge.
 Any ideas?
