The dicey part is that I no longer work in that district (as of right now), though I will be contracted in to do development from the outside. I can't just bring in a thumb drive when it's time to make changes. The ASP comment was mis-read. I was saying that the Windows server locks me into FrontPage and ASP. This is fine from the programming standpoint because I can code in it. I'm typically a LAMP developer, but I can do the IIS/ASP/Access combo when needed. I think my best solution is just to xfer the files using drag-and-drop in Windows. I can open the folder using that Network Places interface, so I'll just have to switch windows when I want to upload. The main reason I use DW is because of its integrated FTP client and code coloring. Otherwise, I'd be using Notepad and FileZilla for it all! |
